This one-of-a-kind Tsugaru Ujo-yaki vase is a work of art when seen from any angle. Fired in the world's longest kiln, vessels are glazed naturally by layers of red-pine ash falling and melting onto them like snow.

Tsugaru Ujoyaki pottery exclusively fires its vessels in wood-fired kilns without using chemical glazes.

In order to prevent lingering odors and stains, rinse Tsugaru Ujoyaki tableware with water and wipe down before use. After use, wash with dishwashing detergent, rinse well, and dry thoroughly. Refrain from soaking Tsugaru Ujoyaki items in detergent for long periods of time as well as using bleach with these items.
