Beautifully Imperfect Traditional Japanese Pottery


Enjoy your sake in large gulps thanks to these rustic sake cups called "guinomi". They are slightly larger than the popular "ochoko" sake cup complemented by a natural glaze from layers of melted red-pine ash.

Tsugaru Ujoyaki pottery exclusively fires its vessels in wood-fired kilns without using chemical glazes.

In order to prevent lingering odors and stains, rinse Tsugaru Ujoyaki tableware with water and wipe down before use. After use, wash with dishwashing detergent, rinse well, and dry thoroughly. Refrain from soaking Tsugaru Ujoyaki items in detergent for long periods of time as well as using bleach with these items.
