Fan(Bamboo and rattan weaving)

This tea caddy is designed to store tea leaves, helping protect them from moisture, oxidation, and light. The body is made using the Lacquerware with woven body technique, with a base woven from Taiwan Makino Bamboo. Fine gaps in the weave are filled with lacquer mixed with clay, then finished with layers of lacquer. The lid is crafted from pure tin.

Taiwanese lacquerware with woven body not only improves the durability and function of bamboo vessels, but also highlights the woven patterns and preserves the bamboo’s original natural texture.
