A set of handmade Japanese zodiac signs. The Japanese zodiac, called eto in Japanese, is similar to the Chinese zodiac. Its main difference is that the eighth sign is sheep and its twelfth sign is wild boar (their Chinese counterparts are goat and pig). Crafted with cedar, cypress, and other local materials from Tottori Prefecture and painted in a simple and cute style, this set is a wonderful good luck charm, New Year’s gift, or gift for other occasions. It comes in its own special cedar box, which doubles as a display shelf.
Each eto figure is about 4cm tall
