CCC Glass Studio is a glass practice based in Taiwan, approaching glass as a material shaped by time, temperature, and perception. Founded by CHIEN-CHIH, CHEN, the studio works closely with traditional craft processes while developing a contemporary language through material sensitivity.
Recent works focus on texture as a carrier of experience. In the Solar Terms series, glass shifts between lightness and depth, expressing the cooling clarity of the summer solstice and the dense, quiet warmth of winter. In Material Mimicry, glass explores varied material states—jade-like opacity, ink-like flow, and chromatic light—emerging from changes in weight, air, and transparency.
Rather than emphasizing technique, CCC Glass Studio allows material conditions to guide each work. Through restrained forms and subtle variation, the practice invites viewers to sense time, season, and transformation through the quiet presence of glass.
