Crafted using traditional raden techniques, polished half-round shells are inlaid into wood, preserving a quiet dialogue between luminous surfaces and warm grain. Each piece is shaped through careful polishing, inlay, and finishing, allowing the shell’s natural luster to respond subtly to the texture of wood. Rather than emphasizing strong contrast, the work focuses on balance and restraint. As light shifts through daily use, the shell reflects changing tones and depth. In this way, the object invites touch and attention, allowing craft, material, and everyday life to meet in a calm, enduring presence.
