This handcrafted round wooden tray is made from tsuki-ita veneer—wood that is finely sliced like paper—and hand-dyed using traditional indigo fermentation. The white sycamore veneer features a rippled grain, enhanced by deep indigo dye, creating patterns reminiscent of rippling water.
Designed for everyday use, the triangular-cut tsuki-ita pieces are arranged in a radial pattern, resembling rays of light. Over time, the natural wood and indigo dye will develop a unique patina, adding depth and character. Despite its large size, the tray remains lightweight and practical.
