Yashima Iron is located in the Sanin Region of the old Hoki Province, where iron sand was used to forge formidable swords in ancient times. Inheriting the techniques of our predecessors, Yashima Iron produced manual rice threshers which were used all over Japan. This Paper Knife and Awl set, which is also produced using the same techniques of old Hoki Province blacksmiths, is not only practical, but adds a calmness and dignity to your desk.
